the 'No Brand' brand...wait...what?

What if you sold something that had no brand? What if your store was minimalist...you had generic packaging...and only two items on your menu? What if you had built this international brand that is revered by the advertising world as...monumental. Then you tossed it out the window...to 'try something new'.

You would be McDonald's....in Japan.

That's right the fast-food empire is testing out a new marketing idea in which there is no standard branding...but wait...there is always a brand...it may not be the golden arches...but the burger has become the brand. The red boxes for the food has become the brand.

The truth is as generic as you make something...it still becomes a brand. We're in a society where simplicity is everything...minimalism is king...this is accepted.

So while you may think you have me fooled...I figured out your game!
